Jackie Haddad

December 25, 1942 — November 14, 2013

Jacqueline "Jackie" T. Haddad, 70 of Rockford died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born December 25, 1942 in Rockford the daughter of Alexander M. and Helen B. (Carlson) Haddad. Graduated from West High School class of 1960. She was a proud homemaker and also worked at Life Touch Publishing for nine years. Jackie had lifelong involvement with the Phantom Regiment that included being a member of the Color Guard and was a Guard Sergeant of the Phantomette's. She was also an active knitter with the Ugly Quilters Club and the Knit Wits and she always enjoyed her pot luck group. Jackie was a wonderful, kind and caring person who never let you down, she will be missed dearly by everyone that had a chance to meet her.
Survivors include her children, Lisa (Rick) Jones of Juda, WI; Jeniffer Pearson of Rockford and Michael (Andrew Sawicki) McDaniel of Chicago; grandchildren, Corbin Pearson, Ryan Jones and Aaron (Ashley) Jones; great granchildren; Kaden and Marlee Jones; sister, Bonnie Haddad of Cambridge, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter, Tiffney.
Memorial service will be Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with visitation from 12-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: OSF Hospice, a local charity of your choice, Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
