James “Jim” C. Spelman, 91, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Rockford. Born July 4, 1933. Jim was a lawyer in Rockford for many, many years.
Survivors include loving wife, Ivonne M. Spelman; children, Jennifer L. Sturgeon (Jim), Dr. Juliet Spelman (Rich), James M. Spelman (Jeri), Jocelyn Prochilo (Dan) and Alex J. Hughes; sister, Penelope Standley (Bill); brother, John Spelman (Jean). Predeceased by his parents and brother, Robert Spelman.
