James R. Newcomer

James R. "Jimmy" Newcomer, 19, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Born August 25, 1992 in Rockford; the son of Richard C. and Debra A. (DiLonardo) Newcomer. Jimmy was a 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School and was employed at Texas Roadhouse.Jimmy is survived by his parents, Richard and Debra; brothers, Joseph, Edward, Thomas, William and Richard P. Newcomer; sisters, Holli Newcomer and Mindy (Tyler) Sweeney; maternal grandmother, Dorothy DiLonardo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his sister, Tina Marie Newcomer; brother, Timothy Newcomer; grandmother, Ruth (Robert) Coleman; grandfather, Maurice Newcomer and greatgrandmother, Agnes St. Antoine. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Father Ariel Valencia officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. Friday, May 11, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. and from 9:00a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
