Saturday, nbsp;February 9, 2013, nbsp;in the home of her daughter and surrounded by her family.
Jane and her late husband Tom were long time residents of Rockford and nbsp;parishioners of nbsp;Holy Family Catholic Church.
They previously lived in Wheaton, Illinois and San Diego California. nbsp;Jane nbsp;was an avid collector of vintage toys and dolls which she found at estate and garage sales in the Rockford area.
She sold many of her finds through dealers over the years and most recently on eBay.nbsp;nbsp; For the past 6 years shes been living at The Grand Victorian independent living facility in Rockford where she made many good friends. nbsp;Jane is survived by her children: Julie, Tom Allen Jr., and Mary(Don 7 grandchildren, nbsp;John Jr. , Jane (Maurice) ; Amy(Mark), William (Shannon),
Julie (Ben), Lori (Corey), and Robert Jr.; nbsp;13 great grandchildren: Julianna , Mickey, Sam, Willy, nbsp;Kate, Nick, Jillian, Grace, Mia, Jane, Max, Jacob and Macie ; sisterinlaw, Catherine nbsp;and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. nbsp;Jane was predeceased by her husband Thomas Allen; soninlaw John; nbsp;her parents Edward and Esther; nbsp;her brothers, William and Edward; sisters and brothersinlaw; Estelle(Francis), Agnes (Jack). nbsp;Funeral Mass, Thursday,
February 14, 2013 at Noonnbsp;at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service.
