Jasper J. Debenedetto

Jasper J. DeBenedetto, 88, of Rockford passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
Born June 13, 1924 in Rockford; the son of Joseph and Josephine (Alfano) DeBenedetto.
He married Rose Collura in June of 1946 at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Jasper was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Rockford for many years.
He was a member of the AFSCME Retirees.

Survived by his brother, Louis (Shirley) DeBenedetto; sisters, Angelina and Nicolina DeBenedetto; nieces, Laurel (David) Antlitz and JoAnn (Charles) Dover; nephew, Joseph (Sara) DeBenedetto.
Predeceased by his parents; wife, Rose; brother, Gus and sister, Josephine.


Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2300 Bell Avenue, Rockford.
Visitation will be from 9:00 until the time of service at the church.
Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
