Jeanette Chessel

Jeanette L. Chessel, 90, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. She was born In Freeport, IL on September 28, 1925, the daughter of William and Helen (Buck) Bessert. She married Edwin P. Chessel. She was a cherished employee of Dierks Food Inc. in Rockford for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Sue Huetson) Chessel and Edwin (Betty) Chessel; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, parents, and siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel. Inurnment private.
