Jerry Wayne Flowers, 75, Rockford, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Nelson Debes Nursing Home. He was born August 27, 1943, in Sherman, TX; son of Waymon and Doralee (Bracey) Flowers. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Rigel from 1960 -1965.
Jerry has no known surviving relatives.
All of those who knew Jerry or are fellow veterans are welcome to attend.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford. Burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood with military honors. Share online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
