Joan P. Precourt

Joan P. Precourt, 82, Rockford, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013. She was born on March 5, 1930 in Oak Park, IL; the daughter of William and Irene (Ryan) Danaher. Joan married James Precourt on July 23, 1973. She was employed as a training manager for Illinois Bell Telephone Company until her retirement in 1982. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church.

Joan is survived by her husband, James; daughter Kimberly (Donald) Vayr; brother, Robert Danaher; grandchildren, Kristin (Daniel) Burns, Kayla (Andres) Marquez and Bryan Vayr; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; sister, Florence Savage; brotherinlaw, Ray Savage and niece, Judith Savage.

Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. Memorial donations may be made to the Center for Cancer Care at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
