Josephine Nicosia

Josephine Nicosia, 84, of Rockford passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Born June 30, 1931, in Sicily, the daughter of Joseph and Rosa (Santalucia) Nicosia. Josephine worked at Rockford Products as an inspector for over 25 years retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Survived by her brothers, Ross Nicosia and Dominick (Rosa) Nicosia; sister, Patty (Nick) Anastasi; nieces and nephews, Rosa J., Rosario, Joey, Vince, Joe, Frank, Dominic, Rosa and Sam. Predeceased by her husband, Dominic and brother, Joseph.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Fitzgerald Funeral Home assisted the family. To express online condolences, please visit: www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
