Josephine Strand

Josephine Strand, 98, Rockford, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2012. Josephine was born in Wright, Minnesota on July 20, 1914; the daughter of Anton and Mary (Vasilios) Schlauter. She married Joseph Strand on November 20, 1948 at St. James Catholic Church. Josephine was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, loved playing bingo and enjoyed attending bible study. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Josephine is survived by her son, Thomas (Beth) Strand of Sheboygan County, WI; daughter, Priscilla (Tom) Pawlikowski, of Kansas City, MO; 5 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by parents; husband, Joseph; sisters, Amelia, Marona and Frances; an infant brother and grandson, Morgan Strand.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednseday, October 3, 2012 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 nbsp;Bell Ave. Visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of service. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
