Joy R. Shott Fry

Joy Renae Shott Fry, 41, of Joliet formerly of Rockford, passed away on August 1, 2017 from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle. She was born on May 2, 1976 in Rockford, the daughter of John and Susan (Whippler) Shott. She graduated from Rockford College with honors and a degree in accounting.

Survived by her children, Zach (Tiffany) Zeschke, Jacob William Fry, and Susan Grace Fry; her granddaughter, Melody Zeschke; her parents, John and Susan Shott; her brother, Nicholas Shott; the father of her children, Steven Fry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment private.
