Karen Pudlas

Karen Pudlas, 64, of Freeport passed away after a long illness at Nelson Debes Nursing Home on Friday, August 19, 2011. Born January 6, 1947 in Savanna, IL; the daughter of the late Howard and Vera (Welch) Wehde. She worked as a clerical worker at Kysor in Byron for many years, she then had a craft business she ran with her husband named Karens Krafts. Karen was a devoted wife and dedicated mother; she loved painting and making crafts. She will be dearly missed. Karen married James Pudlas on April 4, 1964. Survivors include her husband, James, daughter, Tina Pudlas, sisters, Martha Becker and Judy Schier, and brother, Ron Wehde. She was predeceased by one brother David Wehde.
