Katherine "Katie" Kozlowski

Katie was an angel taken to Heaven on November 28th 2013 but was first given as a gift from God on April 6, 1990 in Harvard. Growing up Katie loved life and was never afraid of something new. Life changes and so did Katie. She was currently attending Rock Valley College to become a full time nurse and was employed at Pearl Restaurant for three years. Katie's greatest quality was being herself and she was truly loved by all. She will be greeted in Heaven by her grandfather's, Ralph Kozlowski and Joel Edmund Robinson; grandmother, Patricia Kozlowski and her uncles, Gary and Craig Koslowski. Katie leaves behind her loving family, daughter, Quinn Iris Brush; father, Kevin Kozlowski; mother, Darcy Robinson Rich; stepmother, Barb Kozlowski; half sister, Cassie Chaney Penate; brother-in-law, Joe Penate; nephew, Isaac Penate; God father and loving uncle , Jeffery (Debbie) Kozlowski and cousin's, Collin, Marjorie, Michael, Ella, Luke and Gabby Kozlowski, her step family, Eddie, Amber, Heather and Nicole. Katie was a precious gift from God and God blessed us with her daughter Quinn Iris. Katie's life quote would be, "a tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship and he who plants kindness gathers love. Peace to all and be kind I will live forever, Katherine Irene Kozlowski.
Memorial visitation Monday, December 2, 2013 from 10 a.m. -11:15 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a time of sharing at 11:15 a.m. in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to her family for a college fund for Quinn.
