Kimberly J. Furman

Kimberly J. Furman, 54, Davis Junction, died Friday, February 3, 2012 in her home. Born November 26, 1957 in Rockford, daughter of Andrew "Bud" and Patricia (Stone) Lockner. Graduated from Jefferson High School in 1975. She worked at Penny Pincher for many years. She also trained and showed quarter horses for over 10 years, competing in events such as pole bending and barrel racing. Kim had a kind and caring heart. She had a great love for animals and had a special touch with growing plants and flowers. Survivors include her son, Cody Furman, who attends college and plays football for the Roscoe Rush; parents, Bud and Pat Lockner; sister, Andrea Lockner; brother, Andy Lockner; numerous cousins and special friends, Kim Smeja, Lisa Allvord and Laurie Schoom. Predeceased by her infant brother, Kelly Andrew in 1963 and her grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Rev. Wendell Maynard officiating. Private family burial.
