Leona "Loney" J. Griffey

Leona “Loney” J. Griffey, 87, of Rockford passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Rochelle Rehab & Healthcare. Born in Rockford on June 28, 1929, in Rockford, she was the daughter of Leon and Lenora (Miller) Dill. She married Eugene Griffey in December of 1948. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
Survived by her children, Mike (Diane) Griffey, Steve (Diane) Griffey and Nancy (Al) Garrison; granddaughters, Jennifer (Kyle Hill) Griffey, Sheri Griffey and Chelsea Woodman; siblings, Jim (Pat) Dill and Bonnie Cook. Predeceased by her husband. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Rochelle Rehab.
