Rockford—Liam David Vaughn, 3 of Rockford died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Morris Hospital in Morris, Illinois. Born April 1, 2011 in Rockford to Mark and Ashley (Sechler) Vaughn. In support of Liam, his family is asking all Law Enforcement Officers to please wear their uniforms and the general public to wear superhero attire. Liam loved his family very much and had a great love for all superheroes, especially Batman and his "Daddy Mark".

Liam will be missed by his buddies, Connor, Nolan, Lily, Makenna, Emerson, Ella, Casey, Cole, Caleb, Koa, Hilo and Zander.
Funeral Service 10 am Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Il 61108 with Pastor Jeff Fricke officiating. Visitation Friday, June 20, 2014 3 to 8:30 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (Mulford Chapel) 1860 S. Mulford Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the State Police Department at gofundme.com/adznio for a memorial bench and tree to be planted in Liam's memory.
