Margaret Adena Mastros

Margaret Adena Mastros, of Rockford, passed away at 12:00 p.m .on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Amberwood Nursing Home. Born June 27, 1911 in Devils Lake, North Dakota; daughter of Edward and Bessie Taylor. In 1915 she moved to Rockford and has been a resident ever since. She married Robert Statdfield in 1926. In 1940, she married John Mastros, he predeceased her in 1971. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores (Floyd) Herbig of Rockford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, sister, 3 brothers, 2nd husband; Robert Statdfield, sons; Robert Statdfield, Jr. and John Statdfield. There will be no service. It was Margarets wish that her body be donated to science. Cremation will follow at a later date. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108 is assisting the family.
