Margaret J. Black

Margaret J. Black, 70 of Caledonia, IL passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born June 21, 1950 in Canton, IL the daughter to John and Nona (Wright) Evans. Marge married Robert M. Black, Sr. Marge worked for the Rockford Park District for many years. She was a strong willed woman that loved her family. She enjoyed gambling and shopping. She will be dearly missed by those left to cherish her memory.
Survived by her beloved husband, Robert; children, Robert M. (Jody) Black, Jr. and Teresa (Scott) Raper; grandchildren, Hayden Black, Taylor Raper, Jacob Raper, and Jenna Raper; mother-in-law, Patricia Black; brother, Terry (Connie) Evans, sister-in-law, Susan (Ray) Fraley; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; 1 sister and 5 brothers.
A Walk Through Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined.
