Margaret M Morig

Margaret M. Morig, 93, of Rockford died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Alden Debis Sub Acute Rehab Center. Born October 26, 1922 in Rockford the daughter of John and Ruth (Meyer) Widen. Graduate of Rockford Central High School and married her loving husband, Carlyle Morig. Margaret was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church for over 60 years and loved to cook and bake and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Steve (Pat) Morig, Bob (Gloria) Morig and Lori (John) Farrell; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers.
Memorial service Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Court Street United Methodist Church, 215 N. Court St. with Rev. Calvin Culpepper officiating. Arrangements completed by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel.
