Margie C. Childers-Wilson, 92 of Byron, formally of Rockford, passed away September 11, 2019 at Generation at Neighbors. Born July 19, 1927 in Menominee, IL, the daughter of Henry & Ann (Kaiser) Vondra. Graduated Warren High School in Warren, IL. She worked as a secretary for H Douglas Singer Mental Health Center for many years.
Survivors include son, Mark (Kim) Childers; grandsons, Nate (Sarah) and Zac (Amanda) Childers; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Audrey; Linda Childers and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband John Childers; siblings, Lila, Vince, Vernon, Armella, Eileen and Elmer.
Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2019 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.
