Loves Park , Marianne T. (Sacco) Schmaling died Thursday, July 9, 2009 after a short illness at home surrounded by her family. Born September 25, 1942 to Joseph and Rose (Casciana) Sacco inRockford, IL. Married Gerald (Jerry) Schmaling on October 27, 1972. Marianne was Administrative Assistant in the Dean of Students office at Boylan Catholic High School for 34 years.



Survivors; Husband, Gerald (Jerry) Schmaling; Sister, Roseann Canova; Niece, Kim Canova; Nephews, Joey (Michelle) Canova and Johnny (Brianne) Canova; Great Niece and Nephew, Morgan Rose Canova and Dominic Joseph Canova; Aunt Joanne Sacco; brother-in-law, John Canova and numerous cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Joe and Rose Sacco and Uncle Augie Sacco.



Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday July 14, 2009 at St. Anthony of Padua Church 1010 Ferguson St., with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Father Paul Lipinski officiating.
