Marihelen Smick

Marihelen Smick, 89, of Rockford, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Presence Cor Mariae Center. Born January 25, 1925, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Clara (Stevenson) Marshall. Marihelen married Richard Smick on June 7, 1947 in Quincy. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crafting and golf.
Survived by her daughters, Bobbie (Keith) Zimmerman and Adell (William) Woods; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Richard and parents.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. J. Keith Zimmerman officiating.
