Marilyn Ann Kurth

Marilyn Ann Kurth died on June 15, 2014 after a valiant fight against heart disease. Her beloved children were at her side: Mark and Claudia Wiegand of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Paul and Lynn of Austin, TX. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Russell of Rockford, IL; her two sons and daughter-in-law. She also leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Fred Bass of New York City; a niece, Nancy Bass Wyden, her husband (Ron), and their three children. Marilyn was a pre-deceased by an infant daughter and her nephew Steven Bass.

Marilyn (nee Miller) was born and raised in Madison, WI and moved to New York City after her marriage to Russell, where she worked for AT&T. After a short sojourn to Eau Claire, WI, Marilyn and Russell made their home in Rockford in 1960.

A Mass of Christian burial for Marilyn's life will be held on Friday June 20, 2014 at St. Bernadette Church at 10:00 am. Memorial visitation from 9am until 9:45 Friday in the church.
