Michael Zaker

Michael R. Zaker, 78, Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in Rockford. He was born on January 5, 1947, in Waukegan, IL, the son of Michael and Mary (Jasperson) Zaker.

He is survived by his daughter, Molly (Brian) Litman; his grandchildren, Nicholas Litman and Chloe Litman; his brother, William (Sue) Zaker; and his sister, Sharon Zaker. He is preceded by his parents, Michael and Mary, and his sister, Patty.

A Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
