Michelle Ann Rice 43 of Rockford passed away Sunday January 19, 2014 in her parent's home. She was born June 19, 1970 in Aurora. The daughter of James and Denise Rice. Michelle worked for TASC in Rockford.
Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Hess of South Beloit; granddaughter, Jaquelynn Reich; father, James (Jan) Rice of Rockford; mother, Denise Rice of Rockford; siblings, Joe (Aubrae) Rice of Machesney Park, Shannon (Shirley) Rice of Loves Park, Christopher Hornbach of Peoria, Kelly (Todd) Cleaveland of Roscoe and Mike (Heather) Belden of Rockton; paternal grandmother, Jean Perkins; maternal grandparents Harriet and Joseph Korcek; nieces and nephews, Hallie, Nicholas and Lauren Rice, Leland Hornbach, Alex and Nicole Cleaveland, Amber, Amanda, Ashley and Mike Belden. Predeceased by her special great grandmother, Inez Roberts and grandfather, Elmer Rice.
Memorial service at 12pm Thursday January 23, 2014 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. Randy Young officiating. Visitation from 5pm until 7pm Wednesday January 22 in the funeral home 3910 N. Rockton Ave. In lieu of flowers memorials in honor of Brittany Hess and/or TASC.
