Mirdza Kolatalo

Mirdza Kolatalo, 89, West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Latvia on July 28, 1923; the daughter of Theodore and Martha Zeilers. Mirdza married Dr. Walter Kolatalo in Germany February 14, 1947. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mirdza is survived by her son, Ihor (Sharon) Kolatalo of West Chester, OH; her grandchildren, Ryan Kolatalo, Brent Kolatalo and Kristin Kolatalo. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Walter. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial is in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is at Holy Family Catholic Church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorials in Mirdza’s name be made as a donation and made out to “The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis”.
