Myra M. Sproch

Myra M. Sproch, 87, of Durand, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born in Smithville, Arkansas on March 21, 1927, the daughter of Jesse and Corda (Norris) Goff. Myra married Joseph Sproch in St. Bridget Catholic Church on November 15, 1952. She was a licensed beautician in the Rockford area and a talented artist. Myra enjoyed baking pies for family and friends as well as photography, music, sewing, and gardening.
Myra is survived by her husband, Joseph; sons, Christopher (Dan Rabe) Sproch and Mark Sproch; brother, William O. (Charlena) Goff of Pangburn, AR; sister, Margaret Long; sister-in-law, Betty Goff; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, a brother and 3 sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Myra's name to the Alzheimer's Association. Cremation rites have been accorded. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel assisted the family. To extend condolences visit www.fitzgeraldfh.com
