Myrt M. Adcock

Myrt M. Adcock, 89, Rockford, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Decatur, the daughter of Hobart and Grace (Williams) Dulaney. Myrt married Richard “Dick” Adcock on September 5, 1954, in Decatur. He passed away on August 8, 2018. She was a former member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

Myrt is survived by her son, Rick Adcock and her daughter, Sue Schrieber; her granddaughters, Danielle and Grace Schrieber; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Dick, her parents and her son-in-law, Jeff Schrieber.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 11, 2025, with Reverend Randy Heinzeroth officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
