Paula (Oliveri) Fuca, 88, of Rockford passed away at 6:20 a.m. on March 18, 2012 in River Bluff Nursing Home after a long illness. Born December 21, 1923 in Chicago, the daughter of Sam Sr. and Jennie Oliveri. Paula lived most of her life in Rockford, coming here from Dekalb. She married Jimmy Fuca in Rockford on August 19, 1950. Paula worked for a number of years in the offices of St. Anthony Church for Father Annastacious. She was a graduate of Muldoon High School and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.Survived by sons, Jamie (Kathy) Fuca and Bill (friend, Ramona and her daughter Jasmine) Fuca; grandchildren, Paul (Kelly) Fuca, Nikki (Bill) Stahr, Tasha (Patrick) Stewart; great grandchildren, Gianna Fuca, Madison Stahr and Isabella Stewart. Predeceased by her husband, Jimmy, parents, brothers, Sam Jr., John and Phil Oliveri. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the church on Tuesday.
