Payal A. Patel

Payal A. Patel 18 received her angel wings on June 18, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Payal was born in Rockford, IL on December 1, 1995 to Ashok (Omar) and Darshana (Dee) Patel. She graduated with the Class of 2014 from Auburn High School, and was involved in UNICEF, Cross Country, and the Auburn Gifted Program. Payal was a fun loving, young woman who appreciated spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed music, movies, arts and crafts, and fashion. Her energetic and outgoing personality allowed her to be the life of the party. She was employed at Doughboy's Donuts and Kumon Learning Center. Payal was planning on pursuing a degree in Psychology at St. Louis University, with a professional goal of becoming a Physician's Assistant. She is survived by her parents, her brother Kishan, paternal grandmother Kamlaben D. Patel, maternal grandparents Gordhanbhai and Manjulaben Patel, uncle Jitendra (Jay) and aunt Kalpana Patel, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
