Ralph "Gene" E. Denton

Ralph "Gene" Denton, 78, of Rockford, passed away ln July 2, 2023. He was born on September 30, 1944, in Ramsey, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Frida (Hayes) Denton. He married Sandra George on July 30, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois. He worked as an Iron Worker for the Aurora Local 393. 

Gene was a gentle hearted man who loved motorcycles and Nascar. 

He is survived his wife, Sandra; son, John Denton; and sister, Sharon, Walt. He is predeceased by his parents. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held at a later date.
