Raul C. Rivera

Raul C. Rivera, Jr, of Rockford, passed away January 18, 2017 at Alden Debes Healthcare Center. Born October 2, 1949, in Fresno, CA, the son of Raul C. Rivera, Sr. & Connie Cordava. Graduated from Rock Valley College. He worked for Rockford Standard in their warehouse. Raul enjoyed learning about history, watching his favorite football & baseball teams the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Cubs, but most of all spending time with his family. Survivors include father Raul (Armida) Rivera, Sr; brothers Robert (Denise) and Anthony Rivera; sisters Sandra (John) Rivera Beck, Gloria Castello, Jenny (Richard) Perez and Mary (Rudy) Robles; nephews Ryan, Devin, Dylan Rivera, and niece Gina (Brandon) Larson and their baby Harper.
