Richard C. Costello

Richard Costello, Sr., 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Kirkland, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011.Born July 12, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois; son of Carmen and Josephine (Kulach) Costello. Graduate of the University of Illinois earning his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. Throughout his career he worked for Caterpillar, Griffin Wheel, Ipsen, and Arnold Engineering before retiring from Hamilton Sundstrand in 1994.Richard was a lifetime member of the U of I Alumni Association, ASME, Flora Community Church, and Moose Lodge, Hot Springs, AR.He was a master gardener who loved the outdoors and spending time at his cabin in Wisconsin. Survived by; daughters, Carmen (Josh) McCleary, Janice Costello; sons, Keven (Melanie) Costello, Rick (Karen) Costello, Clayton Sr. Costello; sister, Delores Quade; grandchildren, Brandon, Jamie, Jordan, Clayton Jr., Frankie, Samantha, Leila, Grace, Kate, and Casey. Predeceased by his parents and brothersinlaw, Frank Wraczak and Glenn Quade.The family would like to thank Passages Hospice for their compassionate care.Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
