Richard Long

Richard Long 72 of Rockford passed away Thursday February 26, 2015 in Cor Mariae Nursing Home. He was born August 16, 1942 in Dixon, IL, the son of George and Carrie Long. He served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965. He worked for Martin Automatic for 39 years, retiring in 2009. Richard was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan, he also really enjoyed golf.
Survivors include his three sons, Wade (Nora) Long of Jamestown, NC, Derek Long of Belvidere, IL and Mitchell Long of Belvidere, IL. Grandchildren, Tyler, Carter, Emma, Mercedes and Trevor. Three sisters, Judy Day of Dixon, IL, Karen Aurand of Dixon, IL and Bev Woodrick of Buena Park, CA. Numerous nieces and nephews.
