Rick S. Rogers

Rick S. Rogers, 67, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2013 in his home. He was born September 23, 1947 to L.T. and Pauline Rogers; who predeceased him. Rick lived all but 3 years of his life in Rockford. Rick was a musician/singer and self taught artist and worked as a bar catering manager at the Westin Chicago and other venues.

He is survived by his sons, Jason (Tara) Rogers and Jeremy (Kim) Rogers; grandchildren, Hailey, Hayden, Alexis and Logan; brothers, Nolan Rogers and Gene Rogers; sisters, Leigh (Wayne) Erickson and Terri Peterson and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at noon on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the family for Rick's children.
