Robert R. Brimeyer, 72

Rockford- Robert R. Brimeyer, 72 passed away, Thursday, August 07, 2014 at Neighbors Nursing Home, Byron, IL. Born October 10, 1941 in Dubuque, IA., the son of Edward & Gladys (Mehl) Brimeyer. Married Ruth Runde in Menominee, IL on August 24th, 1963. Robert worked for Ingersoll Cutting Tools Co, for fourty-seven years, retiring in October 2009. In addition, he and his wife Ruth owned and operated Crafts Plus from 2001 -2013. Robert was a Cub Master for the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts of America. Robert enjoyed wood working, Nascar, and working on his pond.
Survivors include wife Ruth; son, James Brimeyer; daughters Linda (Tony Booth) Brimeyer and Nancy Estes; brothers Tom (Pat), Roger (Ann), Charles (Pat), and Danny (Alicia) Brimeyer; grandchildren Ronald (Heather) Brimeyer, Michael Estes, Collin Estes, and Courtney Booth; great grandchildren Olivia and Amelia Estes; family special friend Joe Grossman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents; brothers Jim, Jerry, Donald, and David Brimeyer.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 am Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 Monday at Church.
