Robert Lee Smith

Robert “Bob” L. Smith, 81, of Rockford, passed away September 24, 2019 at Presence St. Anne Center. Born March 9, 1938 in Rockford, the son of Alvie & Clara (Schmidt) Smith. Graduated from St. Thomas High School, class of 1955, he then later graduated from Loras College with his bachelor’s degree. Served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include sisters, Shirley Smith and Nancy Ronan, sister in law, Edna Joan Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews, Predeceased by parents; sisters, Lois Hendricks and Dorothy Smith, brother, Richard Smith.
