Rosa Lucchese, 82 of Rockford passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007. Born in Camporeale, Italy, the daughter of Giuseppe and Domenica (Lucido) Ognibene. Rosa married Giacomo Lucchese in St. Anthony of Padua Church on April 7, 1956. nbsp; Rosas hobbies included her love for sewing, knitting, gardening and cooking. She was also very artistic. She was a member of the Lombardi Club, Saint Marys Club and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. nbsp; Rosa is survived by her daughters Teresa (Domenic) Alfano, Anna Lucchese- Forcioli, Santina Lucchese and Jackie Lucchese. Grandchildren Anthony and Monica Alfano and Laurent and Sophie Forcioli. Siblings Biaggia Marino and Leo Ognibene. Also, numerous loving nieces, nephews and many loving and supportive friends. Predeceased by her parents, husband, sons Joe and Santo Lucchese and brother Joe Ognibene. Rosa was cherished by all. nbsp; The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. DiSanti and staff for the loving care they provided. nbsp; Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2007. Interment will follow Mass in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Sunday with a rosary recited at 7:30pm in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
