Rose Marie Cooper

Rose Marie Cooper, 84, died peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in Presence St. Anne Center. Born December 21, 1938 in Rockford, daughter of Tony and Rosemary Sartino Vincent. Married Teddy Cooper on March 16, 1970 and he died February 7, 2016 after almost 46 years of marriage. Worked for State Farm Insurance Co. for many years where she enjoyed the many clients she had the privilege to work with.

Rose loved to travel, especially enjoying her trip to Italy. She appreciated going on cruises and gambling trips from time to time. She also loved to watch sports and very much enjoyed music.

Survivors include her children, Julie (Steve) McCaslin, Gwen Cooper and Craig (Kristi) Cooper; grandchildren, Nick Cooper and Erin Hill; great-grandchildren, Julianna, Shayla and Jeremie; great-great grandchild, Killian; brother, Sam (Fran) Vincent and her loving canine companion, Wally, who brought her much joy. Predeceased by her parents, husband, grandson, John and infant brother Anthony Vincent. Rose was very blessed to have had her brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Fran Vincent, take wonderful, loving care of her the past few months and her family would also like to thank Trisha Curry for her care of Rose.

A memorial service to honor Rose will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with a visitation from 5 p.m. until time of the service. Send condolences and share memories at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
