Ruth Jogerst Crowdes of Rockford Il passed away June 14, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Ruth was born June 11, 1936 in Harper Il to Frank and Emma (North) Jogerst. Ruth volunteered all over Northern Illinois and was a member of St. Anthony Church. Survivors include daughters; LeeAnn Crowdes of Cherry Valley and Colleen Crowdes of Rockford. Extremely treasured grandchild Sydney Crowdes, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend Bonnie Jansen of Rockford. Predeceased by husband Rex Crowdes, parents, sister Rita Bouchard, and brothers Phil and Tom Jogerst.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at St Anthony Church. 1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102. Visitation will be held from 5 – 7pm Monday at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103 and from 10 a.m. until of mass on Tuesday at church.
