Sanga Xayvandy

Sanga Xayvandy, 77, of Rockford, passed away on July 27, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 8, 1940 in Laos, the son of Gum & Keo Xayvandy. He served in the Lao Military. Married Chanh Chanthayod. Sanga was a farmer taking care of his animal. He is described as a renaissance man. He had a free spirit, was good with his hands, enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include wife; children Bounsy Xayvandy, Som (Amy) Xayvandy, Than (Khamphong Tipayod) Xayvandy, Vansy Xayvandy, Leedform Xayvandy, and Christiana Xayvandy; grandchildren Phillip, Jason, Natalie, Junior, and more in Laos; 3 brother and 2 sisters. Predeceased by 1 sister.
