Sarah B. Mendoza, 16 of Rockford died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Born July 12, 1996 the daughter of Florencio Mendoza and Edna Capitulo. Survived by her parents; her sister Joy; half brothers, Michael, Filbert and Peter; grandparents, aunts, uncles , cousins and numerous friends. Funeral Mass Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive with visitation from 9 11 a.m. at the church.
