Sheila Ann Targo, a 60-year-old beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and vibrant spirit sadly left his world on December 9, 2025. Born on March 18, 1965, daughter to Donald W and Beverly (McClinsey) Learn. To the outside world, Sheila appeared to be a quiet soul, independent and fiercely loyal to her loved ones; yet on the inside she had a universe of passion and creativity beneath that demeanor. Sheila’s passions were as eclectic as her vibrant spirit, she had a lifelong love for old films, particularly enjoying the cheesy classics of the 80’s. She loved to make new recipes and took pride in crafting meals and bread with care, ensuring each dish was seasoned with love. Projects like making jewelry, experimenting with wine and mead, brought a sparkle to her eye as she got to use her creative mind to bring her ideas to fruition. Outside, Sheila cultivated her own magical sanctuary, a fairy garden of sorts, nestled in her back yard. This area of creativity embodied her whimsical side and mirrored her love for nature, where tranquility thrived amid the rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds. While she did not have a broad circle of friends, Sheila was devoted to those who she loved – her family. After raising four sons she had an undeniable ability to sow the rips in clothes no matter how big, and the arrival of a granddaughter filled her heart with immeasurable joy. This little light was the apple of her eye, and Sheila found great delight in spending time with her (and maybe spoiling her just a little). The shockwaves of her sudden passing reverberate through her family, who are so deeply saddened by this unexpected loss. Sheila’s absence leaves a void that will forever echo with the love she imbued in her life’s many moments. As they navigate this profound sadness, they carry with them the enduring warmth from her spirit, the shared memories, and the timeless bond of unconditional love.
Sheila is survived by her sons Corey and Zachary Evinger, as well as Joseph and Shane Targo; her beloved little granddaughter, Willow; Sheila’s mother, Beverly Learn; her siblings David Learn, Tammy (Chip) Price, Randy Learn, Colleen Learn, and sister in law Debbie Learn; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as several aunts and uncles; last, but certainly not least, her little dog companion Trixie. She is predeceased by her father Donald Learn, as well as her brother, Kevin Learn.
