Shirley Mae Manne

Shirley Mae Manne, 90, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born May 9, 1924, the daughter of Ralph and Alice (LeVasseur) Kelley. Shirley married Andrew J. Manne in Rockford on June 26, 1948. He passed away February 21, 1991. She was the office manager for Thompson Design Interiors for many years. She attended Roscoe United Methodist Church. Shirley loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Survived by her son, Michael "Mick" (Barbara) Manne of Rockton and their children, Anthony and Andrew Manne; her daughter, Nancy (Bill) Terpstra of Lakeside, MT and their children, Kristel (Jim) McKenna, Jeff (Julie) Benson and Jamie (Rudy) Heinle; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; Predecease by her husband and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at Roscoe United Methodist Church in July. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Young Life of Northern Illinois c/o Roscoe United Methodist Church, 10816 Main St. Roscoe, 61073. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family.
