"Sue" Harriett Mckenna

Harriett “Sue” McKenna, 66, of Rockford, passed away in her home, on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She was born in Belvidere, IL on December 17, 1949; to parents, Kenneth and Delores (Williams) Freeman. Sue married her loving husband and best friend, David McKenna on September 24, 1999 in Church by the Side of the Road; spending 16 wonderful years together. Sue will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; along with her trademark red hair and sharp wit. Her family will miss her dearly.
Sue is survived by her husband, David; daughters, Tammy (Joe) Dray and Dawn Bloomfield; grandchildren, Cassaundra Dray, Tyler Dray, and Brianna Pumillia; great grandson, Milan Samoukovic; and siblings, Arch (Joyce) Freeman, Mike Freeman, Pat (Ruthanne) Freeman, Carol (Lee) Raymond, Mary (Ron) Popham, and Rose Lind. She is predeceased by her parents; and siblings, Butch (Rita) Freeman, Phil (Carol) Freeman, Terry (Trudy) Freeman, Harry (Sandy) Freeman, and Joe (Dianna) Freeman.
A memorial visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016; at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S.
