Theresa "Terry" Walden

Theresa E. "Terry" Walden, 69, of Rockford, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in her home. She was born April 5, 1945 in New York City, NY the daughter of James and Mildred (Feola) Daly. Terry worked as a hairdresser for Duke's and Lords and was a purchasing agent for Sundstrand Corporation. She was a faithful member of St. Edward Catholic Church and also volunteered at the St. Elizabeth Food Pantry and at St. Edward's. Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Mike) Hajek of Long Island, NY; son, John (Ora) Pareso of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Olivia Hajek, Lily Pareso and Jimmy Pareso and brother, Robert Daly of Long Island, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass in the Parish Hall. Inurnment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Winnebago. In lieu of flowers memorials to the ALS Association. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel is assisting the family.
