Thomas B Przytulski

Thomas B. Przytulski, 71, of Rockford, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015. He was born in Rockford, on March 10, 1944; to Chet and Lois Pryztulski. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He married his loving wife, Lana (Roser) Przytulski, in Rockford, on September 4, 1971. Tom was a highly skilled carpenter and tradesman, served as Alderman in Rockford from 1982 to 1990, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was a member of the local Moose Club, and volunteered for many years as a youth football coach. Tom was also an avid fisherman and hunter. His grandkids were his pride and joy.

Survived by his wife, Lana; children, Thomas (Lisa) Przytulski, Jeffrey (Colleen) Schroder, and Jodi (Todd Newill) Sutherland; grandchildren, Jennifer (Colin) Dornink, Jessica Fortson, Lydia & Anthony Pryztulski; great grandchildren, Timothy, Eleanor, and Cordelia; sister-in-law, Lynn; brother, Roger (Elizabeth); sister, Janice Connell; Aunt Pearl Aniszewski; and his loving dog, Lucy. He is predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Robin Elizabeth Przytulski; brothers, Jeff & Jim; brother-in-law, Owen Connell.

Funeral Mass will be 9 am, Saturday, June 6, 2015, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School St., Rockford, IL, 61101. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm, Friday, June 5, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with recitation of Rosary at 7:15 pm. Burial will be private on a later date.
