Thomas E. Edell

Thomas E. Edell, Sr, 77, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in Amberwood Nursing Home. Born July 23, 1935 in Red Wing, MN. Graduated from St. Paul Catholic Seminary and attended the University of Minnesota. Served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1957. Married Linda Kruse on August 3, 1963 in Independence, IA. He had worked for Longview Fibre Company and was a former member of St. Bernadette Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Tom (Tammy) Edell, Jr, Tim Edell and Kristin (Dan) Michaels; grandchildren, Keith, MaKayla, Kason, Dylan, Kaitlin and Megan.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Amberwood Nursing Home Staff for the special care given to Tom.
