Thomas E. Magan, Jr.

Thomas E. Magan, 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, in Rockford, IL. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine Magan. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his grandchildren, watching sports of all kinds and coached many years of youth sports. Tom is survived by his wife of 55yrs, Margaret (Gilmore); children Patricia (Joseph) Evans of Cherry Valley, IL., Pamela (Scott) Lunsford of Fort Wayne, IN., and Thomas (Kathy) Magan of Elgin, IL. He was a proud Grandfather to seven grandchildren. A private family gathering and funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5th at St. Rita Catholic Church.
