Thomas "Tom" A. Moczynski

Thomas “Tom” A. Moczynski passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Mercy Health Hospital. Tom was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 21, 1941, son of Anthony and Florence (Kowalski) Moczynski. He married Alice Sawall on February 23, 1963. Tom was the manager of Rockford Thermogas for 30 years. After the company’s closing, he was an electrician at Estwing, where he retired after 10 years. Tom very much enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, traveling and spending time with his children, grandchildren and dear friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice; children, Anthony (Lynn) Moczynski, Alan (Michelle) Moczynski, Jennifer (Ryan) Moczynski Yamat; grandchildren, Lindsey, Graham, Anthony and Anna. He is deeply loved by his wife and family and will be greatly missed.
Memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Avenue. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
